As Hanuman continued his incredible journey across the ocean, a great mountain suddenly rose from beneath the waves directly in his path.

"Your kindness touches me deeply," Hanuman said respectfully, "but I carry a promise to Lord Rama that I must fulfill without delay."

Mainaka, understanding completely, wished Hanuman well and gently lowered himself back beneath the ocean waves, allowing Hanuman to continue onward.

Grateful for the encounter, Hanuman continued his journey, his determination even stronger after witnessing such unexpected kindness along his path.

But his journey's trials were not yet over, for soon, a powerful sea serpent named Surasa rose suddenly from the depths of the ocean before him.

"None may pass through these waters without becoming my meal first," Surasa declared boldly, opening her massive jaws to block Hanuman's path.

Hanuman, remembering his duty, politely explained his urgent mission and asked Surasa to allow him safe passage.

But Surasa, bound by an ancient boon demanding she test every traveler, refused to let him pass without first attempting to swallow him.

Just as her enormous mouth opened to its absolute limit, Hanuman cleverly shrank himself down to the size of a tiny thumb.

In an instant, he darted swiftly into her mouth and back out again before she could even react, technically fulfilling her ancient boon.

Surasa, delighted by his cleverness and courage, smiled warmly. "Go forth, brave Hanuman," she said. "You have proven both your strength and your wisdom today."

Pleased with his clever solution, Hanuman continued onward, grateful that his quick thinking had allowed him to maintain his important mission.

Simhika possessed a strange and dangerous power: the ability to capture a creature's shadow and pull them down into the depths below.

Sensing Hanuman's shadow gliding across the water above her, Simhika seized it swiftly, pulling him suddenly downward toward the ocean's depths.

Startled, Hanuman quickly realized what was happening and remained calm, recalling the wisdom and patience he had learned throughout his life.

As Simhika opened her massive jaws to devour him, Hanuman swiftly shrank his body down to an incredibly small size once more.

Then, with sudden and powerful force, Hanuman burst forth from within her, emerging safely and swiftly back into the open sky above.

Simhika, defeated by his clever strength, sank back into the depths of the ocean, no longer a threat to Hanuman's continued journey.

Having overcome each trial along his path — kindness, cunning, and danger alike — Hanuman felt his confidence and resolve growing stronger than ever.

He realized that each challenge had taught him something valuable: patience with Mainaka, cleverness with Surasa, and calm courage with Simhika.

At last, after overcoming every trial the ocean had placed before him, Hanuman spotted land rising on the distant horizon.

His heart swelled with hope and determination as he recognized the shimmering shores of Lanka finally coming into view.
